ftn epxorting OTS offer to sell form2009

© ftnexporting@yahoo.com OTS Model

ADVANCED PROCEDURES: ITSI
As per FTN Exporting Trading Doctrine
POSTED “ OTS” FORM UPDATE: 16th December 2009  JULY 2009

(a) URPIB/ITSI Applicants may use posted model advice.

USE: Purchaser of ITSi make my work easier to apply , because I don't need to explain every single aspect  of trading, therefore lets  get straight to the point in matters of defining  forms like this "OTS". This type of form is provided by the intermediary to the Supplier making and inquiry to such by e-mail. You should practice making you own style of such a form as best suited to your needs. Very simple 'OTS" forms can be made to apply as a direct e-mail application,s but such often don't look very professional. Even while writing amongst your own trading group, forms should always  apply- In matters when a deal become apparent,  as such is the best way to keep track and files  of the  inquiries made -The Intermediary is looking for well informed information so such can conduct due dilligence of such via the net. It also ensures that another misguided seller is not apparent for most times- as you will only deal with a Supplier in possesion of goods being offered. If the initial e-mail already defines such good  information , then asking for an OTS to be filled in is not appropriate. In essence  if you get a basic e-mail  as per our example-

Typical Example:

We are pleased to inform the supply of Coal 5200 Grade, at USD$39.00 per MT Indonesia  FOB .

The above type inquiry is simply  not good enough,  and assuming  the approach was made by an entity to you, then asking for the OTS to be filled in before you will consider "Buying" such, is the best way to stop wasting time by obtaining  good information for you to check. If you are looking for a supplier directly  then asking for a quote or offer or even producing a good looking PDF or Jpeg type  ITB is the best approach.

IN SUMMARY OF ABOVE:

(a) OTS: Offer to sell form-  is advised when a entity is making a weak  inquiry, offering goods to the intermediary.

(b) An OTS is asked to be filled and returned for your purchase consideration.

(c)  An OTS is best issued as a PDF/Jpeg  in where the supplier  scans a copy, fills it in by hand, rescans it  and returns it to you in PDF form.

(d) Those who use Mac, Appleworks does the job via Drawing application. MS Users Powerpoint is the application.

(e) The OTS by defualt becomes the supplier's Offer. The Intermediary is converying to the supplier  on how such an intermediary is able to perform. In essence there is a lot more than meets  the eye when issuing a "OTS"

(f) If it is  found out that another intermediary has the supplier;  IF another  one intermediary has the supplier and is willing to "Step back" to you for your protection of commisson, then add the following under your header (below) - Such is reminded to look at the URPIB rules of which you are following. He remains transparent to the deal as your 'PI" until failure of success is implied.

(g) All such appies if you have declared to be a URPIB Trader- without  such means you are a private trader who working uder  your own procedures-
